Virtual Rheumatology Program
Fellows in Training | V-FIT
The ACR Committee on Rheumatology Training and Workforce is pleased to present the Virtual Rheumatology Program for Fellows in Training (V-FIT)*.
V-FIT is a collection of online courses developed by rheumatology experts to address specific educational needs of fellows in training. V-FIT includes:
- Virtual Rheumatology Teaching Lessons (ViTLs)
- Virtual Rheumatology Practicum for adult and pediatric rheumatologists (ViP–Adult and ViP–Pediatric)
- Virtual Rheumatology Collaborative (ViRL)
Virtual Rheumatology Practicum (ViP) – Pediatric
ViP–Pediatric is a lecture series for first-year fellows in training enrolled in pediatric rheumatology fellowship programs.
To view any of the ViP-Pediatric sessions from 2020–2023; enroll in V-FIT using the instructions below.
Video and audio recordings for the 2024 ViP-Pediatric program are available in the Education Center for ViP-Pediatric 2024 through September 5, 2024. After, September 5, these recordings will be transferred into V-FIT.
Virtual Rheumatology Practicum (ViP) – Adult
ViP–Adult is a lecture series for first-year fellows in training enrolled in adult rheumatology fellowship programs. In lieu of live sessions for 2024, the program will present three pre-recorded topics on the updates for antiphospholipid syndrome (APLS), giant cell arteritis (GCA), and interstitial lung disease (ILD). These recordings will become available July–August. Program directors can access the ViP–Adult Quick Links, a special document that facilitates easy access to all sessions presented from 2020–2023.
Virtual Rheumatology Teaching Lessons (ViTLs)
ViTLs sessions take a deep dive into topics targeted to fellows in training in rheumatology fellowship programs.

Virtual Rheumatology Learning Collaborative (ViRL)
ViRL is an eight-week lecture series that took place April 6–May 29, 2020. Enroll in V-FIT to access the 2020 ViRL lectures and the library of virtual rheumatology programs (ViTLs, ViP, ViRL) from 2020–2023.
