MIPS & MVP

The RISE team is committed to making your Quality Payment Program (QPP) reporting experience seamless and successful, whether it’s for Traditional Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), the Advancing Rheumatology Patient Care MIPS Value Pathway (MVP), or both. This page is your central hub for critical QPP information, including reporting deadlines, updates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and resources for reporting through RISE.

For more information on MIPS and MVPs, see the Quality Payment Program page.

September 2026

Monday, October 3rd is the last day you can begin a 90-day Performance Period for 2026 Traditional MIPS and MVP Improvement Activities.

As a reminder, the MIPS Improvement Activities category counts as 15% of most providers’ final scores. According to CMS, this can change if:

  • You're in a small practice
  • You have an exception from reporting this or other performance categories
