The Program Coordinators Conference provides professional development and networking opportunities for program coordinators and faculty. Past topics include improving team communication, ACGME updates, managing program recruitment, virtual interviews, and program evaluation and clinical competency committees.
Target Audience
This activity is designed for program coordinators, assistant program directors, coordinators from residency and medical school programs.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Review the purpose of TAGME and the benefits of its certification program
- Identify strategies to prepare for the administration of the ACR In-Training Examination
- Explain the remediation process of trainees; what program coordinators need to know
- Review ACR products, resources, and services available to fellowship training program
- Discuss ideas to incorporate extra-curricular activities for your program

Registration Guidelines
Full payment is due at the time of registration.
Online registrations receive immediate email confirmation. Faxed and mailed registrations will be sent an email confirmation within five days of receipt. If you do not receive a confirmation, check your spam/junk folder and then call 404-671-9170, ext. 341.
Cancellations and Refund Requests
Cancellations and refund requests must be received in writing by April 24 to education@rheumatology.org.
- Refunds will not be provided for cancellations received after the cancellation deadline.
- A cancellation fee of $50 for members and $100 for nonmembers will be deducted.
- Refund requests received will be processed within 2-3 weeks of receipt.
- No-shows will not receive a refund.
- Cancelled registrations are nontransferable.

The conference provides strategies for effectively managing program recruitment, program evaluation committees, and improving wellness during the workday. This conference serves as a hub for professional growth, promoting collaboration and the exchange of ideas among coordinators and faculty members.

- Understand the purpose of the Program Evaluation Committee (PEC) and Clinical Competency Committee (CCC) in the context of a Rheumatology Fellowship Program and outlines roles for the Program Coordinator in the PEC and CCC processes
- Explain the potential fellows-in-training recruitment process from start to finish and identify opportunities to improve the process for both the program and applicant
- Identify strategies to improve organization and efficiency in tracking tasks and deadlines common to rheumatology fellowship program
- Network with other Rheumatology Fellowship Program Coordinators
