The Program Coordinators Conference 2025 took place virtually on May 9. This conference provides professional development and networking opportunities for program coordinators and faculty. The conference provides strategies for effectively managing program recruitment, program evaluation committees, and improving wellness during the workday. This conference serves as a hub for professional growth, promoting collaboration and the exchange of ideas among coordinators and faculty members.

Target Audience
This activity is designed for program coordinators, assistant program directors, coordinators from residency and medical school programs.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Understand the purpose of the Program Evaluation Committee (PEC) and Clinical Competency Committee (CCC) in the context of a Rheumatology Fellowship Program and outlines roles for the Program Coordinator in the PEC and CCC processes
  • Explain the potential fellows-in-training recruitment process from start to finish and identify opportunities to improve the process for both the program and applicant
  • Identify strategies to improve organization and efficiency in tracking tasks and deadlines common to rheumatology fellowship program
  • Network with other Rheumatology Fellowship Program Coordinators
